Compulsive Gaming Purchase and A Rut

I currently have a shelf full of backlogs. I did play a few of the games on the shelf, but then I had sort of a rut on my gaming where I would start a game and not finish it. And a game I got intimidated by its difficulty, I just shelved it indefinitely

I am very much a compulsive buyer. Especially for games. I just had to have it the day of release instead of waiting for prices to drop. However waiting for a price drop in the gaming industry of Indonesia is a very long wait – like years and years after release usually.

And of course as a result, I do have a lot of backlogs on my just sitting on the shelf. I bought (not a lot but a few) games and not play them I did play a few of the games on that shelf, but then I had sort of a rut on my gaming where I would start a game and not finish it. Pretty much one of those situations where I feel I have nothing to play when there is a lot to be played.

Another reason of the existing backlog is that I feel intimidated to start the game. One my biggest of such buy is the game ‘Sekiro – Shadows Die Twice’. One – I am not much into the action genre. Two – I read lots of reviews saying that the game is darn hard. But I just had to have that Sekiro figure. I am a sucker for Samurais. Yes – I bought the collector’s edition. Pretty much the very definition of a compulsive buying.

Yeap – It is on the top shelf indefnitely

Maybe one day, I will get to playing Sekiro…
